A Whale of a Time

Whales of Cash Deluxe is a five-reel game with a 3x5 layout that uses an all ways format. That means that you won’t have to worry about pay line; instead, every left to right combination can win, with 243 ways to win on every single spin. The object is to match identical symbols from left to right across the reels, with matches of at least three in a row necessary to earn a prize.

The Endless Ocean

There are a few special icons players can collect on the reels in this machine. They start with whales, naturally, which act as wild symbols. They can appear on the second and fourth reels and will substitute for any of the normal symbols in order to complete winning pay lines.

Scatter symbols (bags of cash) can appear anywhere on the reels. Hit three or more, and you’ll trigger at least 10 free spins, with up to 25 being awarded for the maximum of five scatters. During these free spins, you’ll earn a 4x multiplier every time a wild symbol appears. These are cumulative as well, meaning you can get a 16x multiplier should you hit two in the same winning line.

Remember, there is also a special deluxe scatter that can appear as part of the triggering combination. When this occurs, you can choose to either take double the number of normal free spins or the regular amount using the extra Reel Power set of reels. This expands the reels to four positions each, giving you 1024 ways to win. In addition, the multiplier wilds become more valuable: those appearing on the second reel are now worth 5x, and those on the fourth reel can be worth between 4x and 8x – making it possible to earn 40x the normal amount on a winning pay line that includes both wilds. It’s also possible to trigger either the normal or deluxe special features at random after any spin.
