Having the same problem since the 22nd when purchased  a holiday coin package, but I get a  message which says my account has been locked, and I also have gotten the same responses with no resolve. I have tried to remove and reload app with no avail, and have sent seven plus emails to support with the same response, " how long have you had the problem with gifting, or try again in ten mins, I feel your pain,  I don't believe they have a solution to our problem no matter how detailed you explain it. Good luck.
